Hello There My Friends!
In Today's post, I am going to share with you on how to make a handmade hay toy for your beloved bunnies. I saw this on YouTube and twitched it a little my way. They are low in cost, easy to make and not to even mention that they are such great and fun toy for your bunnies :) Without further ado, let's jump right in!
What you will need:
Brown Paper Bags ( with or without handles)
Pencil
Crafting/ Normal Scissors
Sisal (Rabbit Safe!) or Ribbons (Non Rabbit Safe)
Your Bunnies Favourite Hay
Step1:
Draw some cute shapes on the bag.
The size of the shape determines the difficulty level. (Smaller- Harder for them to pull out the hay, Larger-Easier) You can use a shape puncher in this step if you have one :)
Step2:
Cut out the shapes you've drawn.
Step3:
Put your bunny's favourite hay into the bag.
Step 4:
Tie your bag together with a Sisal-recommend ( rabbit safe) or a Ribbon-not recommend (non rabbit safe).
Ps: ( I couldn't get my hands on Sisal so I used ribbons instead. If your bunny is a chewer, please do not use ribbons!! I know my bunnies won't mess with the ribbon and I also keep a close eye on them while playing, so I know they will be fine. )
Final Step:
Present your work to your bunnies. I think it's Mellow and Dew approved!
I would love to see your creation :) Please share them with me through my Instragram (cookieinajar) or you can post as a picture comment down below. May all have a fun time making this cute little bag of gold!
XOXOXO
